It seems like my first month of school was a breeze, and I assumed that would be that way for the rest of the semester. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case since I spent three hours on a homework assignment, and then another hour for one that I had more than a little help on. And still one to do tomorrow using Matlab that I know is going to cause me trouble. But enough complaining about boring school stuff lets get on to the clothes.
I want to share with you guys a fun school outfit perfect for the fall season (insert something about pumpkin spice flavored things here). I went with a few trendy pieces but mixed them in with the basic wardrobe stapes I know a lot of people already have to put together this look. While I do call it a "school" outfit, it's also great for casual Fridays in the office or any daytime weekend event.
Tank - While I haven't been into the bohemian style outfits or fashion for quite awhile when I saw this halter tank top I fell in love. It almost looks like some sort of tapestry that's been up cycled, which of course made me love it all the more.
Jeans - One of those staples I was talking about are the skinny jeans, which is the cut I wear regularly. They're flattering, for thin and curvy girls alike and since this pair has a higher waist, pretty forgiving. The destroyed wash of the denim balances nicely with the rest of the look's more put together feel.
Cardigan - To make sure this outfit is ready set go for fall I had to add in a sweater of some type and of course when with the ever so popular cardigan. To keep up with the trending colors this dark dusty rose shade of pink was perfect and really helps to keep the piece that is oversized (aka comfortable) feminine.
Bag - I've mentioned it a few times, but I really don't like to carry around bags and most days opt for something much smaller like this wallet. The silver color is great for cool autumn weather and the little bit of sparkle adds some fun.
Shoes - Last but not least are the shoes. I sort of have a love hate relationship with Toms (I did do a post on how to wear Toms before and mentioned it then too) but for a casual school outfit I don't think they can be beat.
