As I've gotten older I've become a lot more interested in healthy living. This of course started out when I realized just how damaging the sun is, and began to wear sunscreen. From there I've begun to use skincare products daily and have made adjustments to my diet all in the name of beauty (and health). But of course I do still have some damage from before I started my journey that I'm always looking to improve, so I was very happy to get to try out the Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer as a PR sample from the company.Alright so as you might know in the past I've reviewed a few other Valentia products. Among my favorites were the Even Glow Serum and Detoxifying Clay Mask but really each of the products are great, so I did have high expectations for the Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer. It comes via amazon in a fancy (or at least I think so) white box with gold accents and black font that explains some of the product benefits. Inside is a brown glass bottle with the lotion in it and a white sticker that matches the ascetic of the box. The dispenser is a nice pump, which is a great addition, and has 4 oz of product.
Verdict: I was at first unsure if the Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer would live up to the claims of lightning dark spots, restoring radiance, evening skin tone, and diminishing fine lines all the while providing all day hydration but after trying it out for a few weeks I can say I'm really impressed. It is for any skin type and actually feels soothing on my skin, and I'm really happy how it's gotten rid of my sun damage, from applying it each morning. And for $25 it's a great deal compared the average skin care item cost. The only downside is I'm not a big fan of the texture/consistency of the Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer.
