The weather hasn't gotten too hot yet but I feel like since I'm in summer school it's summer to me. So I figured it would be the perfect time to do some more warm weather outfits and share them with you guys. Sorry for you guys who are in the southern hemisphere and gearing up for winter, this outfit is all about the sun. I wanted to make it fashion forward with the very in style off shoulder top and a few summer stapes and essentials to make this the perfect outfit inspiration.
Top - I've been seeing off shoulder trend on runways, in magazines, and all over the internet so I thought it'd be perfect to do a guide for. I love that it's still fairly modest and the color is absolutely gorgeous.
Shorts - As you might have guessed from my chic high waisted outfit I love high waisted shorts. This pair is a medium wash, which is easy to pair and long enough that you can wear them to school without worry.
Sunglasses - Especially in the area where I live where there's a lot of sun, all the time actually, for any summer outfit sunglasses are a necessity. I love this pair because they combine the aviator style I love with the equally fun cat eye trend.
Shoes - There are so many sandals that I've been loving lately. This pair might be my favorite though, they have a tiny heel that's great for support and the strappy design is awesome. Plus the dark brown color is so flattering.
I know that this is about the Off the Shoulder fashion trend but I also wanted to add in a little bit of summer makeup to the look. To go with the peach shirt I wanted to add a bit of orange to the look. Because I wanted this to be a summer look that works for school and going out I tried to keep the makeup fairly classic.
Nail Polish - I love Essie polishes and this light peach color is perfect for summer.
Eyeshadow - As much as I love colored pallets like my Karity eyeshadow, neutrals are my go to set. So of course this set of four beautiful colors are necessities.
Mascara - Since there is already eyeshadow I didn't want to overdo this summer look so a few coats of a nice mascara should do the trick.
Lipstick - To finish off this look I didn't want to do too bold of a lip color, and I wanted to stay with the color scheme. This NYX butter lipstick does the trick, and it's hydrating too.
