Review - Farmacy Skin Dew

It's been almost a full week since I've reviewed a proper skincare review (a little weird if you've been reading since I was almost elusively a beauty blog)  so I thought it was a good time to share a very cool skin products that I received last week and have been wanting to share, the Farmacy Skin Dew.  For me this beauty item was especially interesting because while I'm normally really into the matte look, I know the in style look is dewy. I wanted to be able to achieve this look without making my skin feel oily.

While I've heard of Farmacy before this is my first time working with them. Their product came to me in a chic looking white box with a (mostly) green flower and the Farmacy name as well as that this is their Skin Dew and is a hydrating essence mist and setting spray with echinacea greenenvy, a one of a kind patented product that contains the highest known concentration of the phytochemical Cichoric Acid, a potent natural antioxidant which helps protect and firm the skin by inhibiting the enzymes that break down collagen. Inside the box, which was actually a little hard to get open is the hard plastic bottle. It has the Farmacy logo and name on it and you can see the green mist inside it. Inside the shiny silver lid is a silver spray dispenser that is a nice application method. Inside the skin dew does have a bit of a chemical smell.

Verdict: To apply this Farmacy product just spray onto face and smooth into skin, then apply makeup normally like my covergirl whipped creme foundation. It applies well, and feels good going onto my skin. The smell I noticed in the bottle isn't at all noticeable once it is on the skin. The moisturized feeling lasts even after I put on my makeup. And it stays all day and does give me that dewy look without that sweaty look everyone has seen memes about.

Pros -
Doesn't Irritate my Skin
Gives Dewy Effect
Gorgeous packaging

Cons -
At $44 it is pretty expensive

  1. Anything that helps the appearance of dewy skin is good in my book - I just adore the skincare/makeup trend right now, it can look so glossy and fresh! Fab review :)
