Book Review: Marriage on the Mend

Marriage on the Mend
Healing Your Relationship After Crisis, Separation or Divorce
By Clint and Penny A Bragg

Rebuilding a marriage takes time. The Braggs know this. After a divorce that lasted eleven years, they started on a journey to heal their relationship and ultimately, renew their marriage. Practical realistic, and steeped in Scripture, Marriage on the Mend offers the solutions they found to effectively handle past hurts, broken trust and the chronic conflicts that keep many couples from experiencing true restoration.

Clint and Penny A. Bragg now serve as marriage missionaries through the work of Inverse Ministries, their nonprofit organization. Their story of reconciliation has been featured on multiple national and international television and radio programs. You can visit them at

Marriage is one of those hard things. It's the next step to dating and I think for a lot of people it just feels like an extension of that. As in it's not such a big deal to separate since "everyone else is doing it". Marriage on the Mend is meant to curtail this feeling, and is written by a couple who knows all about the ups and downs. Each chapter has valuable information, and is written in an honest and easy to understand way. If you like The Uncommon Marriage Adventure or Altered this is a book to check out.
