Book Review: Andrea Carter's Tales from the Circle C Ranch

Andrea Carter's Tales from the Circle C Ranch
By Susan K. Marlow

Independent tomboy Andi Carter is back for more exciting adventures set on the Circle C ranch in 1800's California. In this short-story collection inspired by fans' questions you will meet Andi's father, join Andi and her friend Jenny Grant in Washington Territory and discover the story behind the Fourth of July race. You will also learn why and when Andi is allowed to wear overalls and if she succeeds in finally ridding her sister Melinda of that scoundrel of a beau, Jeffery Sullivan. Tales from the Circle C Ranch is a perfect companion book to transition between Andi's adventures in the Circle C Beginnings and the Circle C Adventures series and then on to an older Andi in Circle C Milestones.

Susan K Marlow is always looking for a new story. Wether she's writing books, teaching writing workshops, or sharing what she's learned as a homeschooling mom. The author of four adventure series set in the 1800's Susan enjoys relaxing on her fourteen-acre homestead in the great state of Washington.

Previously I read Thick as Thieves and loved the book. So I was excited to see another book in the series. Thinking about it though I have read another Susan K Marlow book, here River in Peril one. I'm happy to see kid appropriate books that are full of action and Tales from the Circle C Ranch fits right along with that.  Perfect for an easy read even if you haven't read the previous books.
