Book Review: Too Many to Jail

Too Many to Jail
By Mark Bradley
The Story of Iran's New Christians

In 1979, there were fewer than 500 known Christians from a Muslim background in Iran. Today there are at least 100,000 believers, some say up to a million. The church in Iran is one of the fastest growing in the world. But why are so many turning to Christ? <ark Bradley invites us to explore Iran's deep spiritual hunger, the deteriorating relationship between Iranians and their national religion, and the remarkable stories of a church growing too large to jail.

I have to admit I love reading any kind of book about an underdog. Especially the impoverished or harassed kind so of course I was interested in reading Too Many to Jail. Well that I also like non-fiction books, and Christian themed books. So this one had it all for me. Just when I began reading it I was impressed by the Christian people in Iran and their faith. Mark Bradley does an amazing job of not only telling their story but help us in a nation where we can freely express our religion, understand how it could be. And as a motivation to be better Christians ourselves. If you like Turn The Ship Around or Out of the Depths this book on Iran's new followers of Jesus is one to read.
