Review: Ozeri Ultra 42 inch Wind Fan

Ozeri is a company that I think is really cool. I've reviewed their digital pedometer, electric wine opener, salt and pepper shaker and green earth pan all of which were very impressive products. I have to say though that this Ozeri Ultra 42 inch is the most impressive of all. First off as far a ordering/shipping goes this fan is available on Amazon (link at the bottom of this post) so everything is pretty easy. When it arrived at my house it was in a large box, and taking it out I noticed that there was some assembly required.

I'll admit I panicked a little bit, until I noticed that I had to do was put the base pieces together, and attach it to the fan. Without reading instructions or using an tools, I was able to get the whole thing together and just kind of twist the screws in. And trust me, if I can do it, you can do it.

Then I placed the included batteries into the Ozeri remote, plugged in the fan and turned it on. Immediately I was surprised at how much hair went through it, and even more surprised when I realized it wasn't even on high. There is a full range of options for the speed, it tell you the temperature in a digital readout, there's a timer as well as three different settings that for the time of day.
As soon as I got the fan figured out, the first thing I did was make my parents come look at how cool it is, and they were impressed too. It's easy to set up, very light weight (I didn't have any issue carrying it up the stairs and I'm a huge wimp) and is sturdy so you don't have to worry about it falling over. At almost $90 it is a little expensive, but well worth the price, especially if you're someone without an air conditioner like a lot of my fellow college students. And would make a great gift if you know someone going away for school.
