Review: Vigilant Tea 100% Organic Green Tea Powder (Matcha)

I've been really into eating healthy lately with that whole fitness friday thing (that I've been failing at) and I'm pretty sure everyone knows about the benefits of drinking certain teas, which I talked about when I reviewed the TeaZa Herbal Energy Pouches, so when Vigilant Tea told me about their 100% organic green tea powder I was more than happy to try it out and that was before I learned the extra benefits of matcha. In case you don't quite know what it is, Matcha is the full leave ground up, and is completely editable.

The packaging of the Vigilant Tea 100% organic green tea powder is a silver package with a pinch close top that is relatively easy to seal. On the front is a label with serving information and not much more information than that. To use you just add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon (depending on how strong you want it) to hot water or a smoothie, and I guess anything else you want and mix it in. I was pleasantly surprised at how sweet it is and the fact that it didn't leave a weird residue in my mouth which I was kind of expecting. Plus how can I not think that very green colored tea is cool?

Final Verdict. I really like the Vigilant Tea Green Tea Powder. For me it's a whole lot easier to use then those silly little tea bags, and it tastes great. Plus you don't have to worry about any caffeine crash with Matcha because the whole leaf takes longer to absorb. So I am going to be using this to make my tea in the future.
