Review: Sieva Stretch Mark and Scar Cream

I think that it's every woman's fear that's she's going to have permeant scars or stretch marks, and if she already has them then she's probably very self conscious about them. I have a scar on my arm from a sugar waxing accident and even though I know it's not a big deal I try and hide it as much as possible, that's just the way it is. I've seen those chemical scar reducers but there is no way I'd risk the health of the rest of my skin. Luckily though I found out about Sieva who makes a stretch mark and scar cream with shea & coco butter, aloe vera, and olive oil not chemicals.

This Sieva lotion comes in a small white tub with a large twist off lid, very similar to the Delon Vitamin E Lotion. Around the middle it has a paper wrapper that's yellow in color with black and purple font. All the ingredients are listed and everything checks out as non-harmful. Before you can use it for the first time there is a safety seal you have to remove, an added bonus I think.

When I opened the safety seal the first thing I noticed was that this Sieva lotion doesn't smell like a normal scar and stretch mark and scar cream. It has a slight citrus scent that I don't mind at all. The color of the lotion is an off white, and it is moderately thick. I wouldn't apply it to the face but anywhere else is fine. The Sieva Stretch Mark and Scar Cream does take a  little while to get worked into the skin but once it does, it's super moisturizing even on your driest skin. Once it absorbs into your skin there shouldn't be any of the typical lotion residue that can be kind of nasty.

Overall I really like the Sieva Stretch Mark and Scar Cream. It smells great and is a heavy duty moisturizer for all of those dry spots, or places that don't easily absorb moisture like scars. I've noticed a difference in how my scar looks and an even bigger difference in how it feels since using Sieva so I think it's worth using.
