Review: Nexxus Color Assure Conditioner

I've already reviewed the Nexxus Color Assure Primer, as well as doing a review for Nexxus Color Assure Shampoo, and so I guess it's time for the last product that is a part of the Nexxus Color Assure trio, the conditioner. Since I tend to have hair that is less than perfect, I'm always on the lookout for a new conditioner so I was excited to try out this Nexxus Color Assure one. I wasn't sure what to expect though (good product or bad product) because I like one of the other color assure products, but the other one just didn't work for me.

Starting with the packaging, just like the Nexxus color shampoo, I love the Color Assure conditioner bottle. It has a wider base and narrows about half way up, but really the whole thing is narrow to begin with.  The pink color, and then contrasting dark pink cap, are ascetically pleasing, to me anyways.

The Nexxus Color Assure Conditioner comes out as a pure white, which is something I like being an almost platinum blonde. The consistency is very smooth, not greasy, and thin. It smells floral and clean, two things I don't mind at all. When I applied it though, I realized it isn't that moisturizing. After showering and air drying my hair I could really tell.

Overall as much as I like the bottle design and the smell of the Nexxus Color Assure Conditioner, I don't like it. For a conditioner I'd expect it to actually add moisture to my hair. I'd recommend using something like the Tresemme Moisture conditioner instead.
