Review: Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil

Before I get into reviewing this Apothecary ExtractsTea Tree Oil, I should probably start by telling you a little about it because when I first was offered it to review, I thought it was something you ingest. Which it is not.  The oil comes from the leaves of tea trees, found in Australia. It can be used to treat infections such as acne and toenail fungus, athlete's foot and ringworm. When I found all this out, I was very impressed with it.

Before I get into how it worked for me, let me start by talking about how the bottle looks. It's in a brown glass jar with a metal lid that twists off, to show a plastic top to use as a dispenser. The Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil label is an off white and on the back has all the information about the liquid. Made in Australia, bottled in the U.S. No preservatives no mineral oil no chemical solvent, no artificial colors no fragrance. There is also a list of uses.

Just opening the box this Tea Tree Oil came in, the scent was strong. You'll want to have good ventilation when using it. It is a yellow brown color, and to use I got some on a q-tip (this was easy with the plastic lid) and applied it to a bug bite i was having trouble with.

This Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil, is a product I'm going to keep around in my medicine cabinet. It really helped my bug bite, and after applying it to a toe nail that wasn't looking so hot, after a few days I saw improvements.
