Review: Personal Care Advanced Lubricating Moisturizing Lotion

lotion from dollar general
Awhile back,  to be specific over a year ago I reviewed Personal Care Cocobutter Lotion and since it was quite popular, I'm guessing because few blogs review beauty products that are dollar store brands, I thought it would be a good idea to review the Advanced Lubricating Moisturizing Lotion from Personal Care as well. Normally we (my family and I) use this kind of lotion as part of the Christmas Presents for Nursing Home Patients so I thought I should try it out to make sure it is actually something that's worth it.

I have to say something about the same to start this part of the review off. Having Lubricating in the name of anything that isn't adult is so awkward. If they changed that I wouldn't mind this bottle at all. It's a pure white with pleasant blue accents and the font is easy to read. I would prefer a different cap, a push one instead but as cheap as this lotion is, I can't complain too much.

The smell of this Personal Care lotion is almost none existent, just a faint scent that I can't quite place as anything other than clean. It is very runny, placing it on the top of my hand I can run it all the way down my arm by just lifting it up, it's even more so than the Vaseline Sheer Infusion although it is a little more opaque than that. I did find it hard to rub into my skin, and it left where I applied it feeling a little moist but it did make even my elbows smoother.

Overall this Advanced Lubricating Moisturizing Lotion isn't my number one favorite lotion, but for the $1 price I don't think it can be beat. It is non greasy and softens skin well without any perfumed scent or extra additives.
