Review: Hope in a Jar For Body

hope in a jar for body lotion
Awhile back I reviewed Philosophy Hope in a Jar that I use as a facial moisturizer almost every day. It's probably the best lotion that I've ever used on my face, and I plan on continuing to use it for a long time to come. So as you can imagine I was very happy to see that I had the body lotion of hope in a jar by Philosophy, and after trying it out I'm happy to give you guys a review of it as well, and let me tell you, you won't be disappointed.

Starting with the packaging, it's very similar to the packaging of the facial lotion. It is a more opaque white but it has the same definition of hope along with the same font and black lettering. Just like many other body lotions it does have more product in it, 4 oz. The top has a click open lid that you squeeze to get the philosophy lotion out of and when it's getting empty its very easy to unscrew the whole lid and get Hope in a Jar out that way.

When you open up the Hope in a Jar for Body it has a fantastic lemon and citrus smell, that some how is gender neutral. It's like a more mellow version of the Nivea Touch of Happiness that I've mentioned loving a time or two. Applying the lotion it has an off white color its smooth and fluid.  It goes on my skin easily and doesn't leave any residue or weird feeling. The smell lasts for a few hours.

Just like the facial creme version of Philosophy Hope in a Jar I absolutely love the body version. It comes in the signature Philosophy bottle, which I find to be very good looking and smells fantastic. Those two things aside its a fantastic daily moisturizing lotion that you can put on before going out because its so light.
