Review: Dark and Lovely Au Naturale Root to Tip Mender

I've reviewed a few traditionally black hair products before, like Dark and Lovely coil moisturizer, the Dark and Lovely hair serum ,  and Cantu Coconut Curling Cream since I was quite a fan of some of the dark and lovely products I decided to give another one, the anti-breakage root to tip mender which is a part of their Au Naturale line at Dark and Lovely a try, plus being sample there isn't really any risk involved.

I can't say much about the packaging since this isn't the real product, but I do like that it has all the information on it. Like that this is for dry damaged hair (that's mine!) and it has guarana root and honey. This is supposed to help repair breakage for transiting hair, and reinforce hair fiber for stronger flourishing healthier looking hair.

The smell of this Dark and Lovely Au Natural Root to Tip Mender smells, like a conditioner. It's fairly feminine, and a clean sort of smell, but not very strong. It comes out in an opaque thin white lotion like consistency. To use after washing and conditioning hair apply Root to Tip Mender to roots and pull though to ends. Then style as usual.

I have to say I'm quite impressed with the Root to Tip Mender by Dark and Lovely Au Natural. It completely takes away the frizzy damaged look of my hair but it doesn't make it heavy and oily like a lot of similar products do.

The verdict 5/5
