As I'm sure you're all aware, sun damage isn't a cool thing. I tend to bring up all the damage that the sun can have on your eyes whenever I do an outfit post with sunglasses, like my heart sunglasses. But sunscreen can be just as, if not more damaging to you skin than to your eyes which is why I was more than happy to try out this Coppertone Clearly Sheer Spray Sunscreen that is 50 SPF after wearing it a full day at the pool here's my review.
Starting of course with the bottle. It's in a very graphically designed blue bottle with a sun, and water as well as all the information you need to know about the Coppertone Clearly Sheer spray sunscreen. Although I'm not normally the biggest fan of a busy product packaging I don't mind this one because with the water and the sun (this product is water resistant for 80 minutes) it tells you everything you need to know perfect for kids just learning to read. To use twist the top, it'll make a clicking sound, to open it and then press down on the button to spray. It sprays evenly in a fine mist.
As soon as I sprayed it I got that fantastic Coppertone sunscreen smell. It's not as strong smelling as the formulas I remember using as a kid though that isn't a bad thing. Not only is it lighter in scent but it's not nearly as heavy as other sprays. After spraying it doesn't feel like anything is on my skin.
I'm sure you're all wondering though how it held up to a day playing in the pool. I followed the instructions and applied it fifteen minutes before going outside and then again after 80 minutes in the water and I didn't get burned. Not even a little redness and my skin feels just fine.
Overall for a fun at the beach or pool sunscreen I don't think you can beat Coppertone Clearly Sheer Spray Sunscreen. It's easy to apply, doesn't weigh down my skin and it actually works. I'm very impressed.
