Review: Colgate Optic White Toothpaste

whitening toothpaste by colgate
For the past few weeks I've been using the optic white daily anti-cavity toothpaste by Colgate that has a sparkling mint flavor.  I'm really into getting white teeth, I'm sure I'm not the only one, so this isn't my first time with a product that's supposed to whiten teeth. I've used both the 3D Crest White Strips as well as the Crest 3D White Toothpaste that I'm going to be comparing this Colgate Optic White Toothpaste to. I do really like it, but there are a few things I would change if I could.

Starting with the packaging I like it. The red and shiny background is easy to see in the morning with tired eyes, and although the font is easy to read, it isn't blaring that you're using it because you have yellow teeth, which could be embarrassing if other people see it. I love the large cap, it's easy to open and doesn't get toothpaste gunk all over it.

My biggest complaint about the Colgate Optic White Toothpaste is the taste. They say it's mint, and I guess it is but it also tastes a little like whitening product. At first it makes teeth brushing not that fun but I got used to it pretty quickly. I just wish it made my breath smell a little more minty.

Overall I really like the this toothpaste. Although it doesn't taste that great or smell fantastic, it has nice packaging and I feel like it really whitens my teeth which is the most important part. So I would buy Colgate Optic White again because my teeth look much more white.
