Love Letters from the Edge
Mediations for Those Struggling with Brokenness Trauma and the Pain of Life
By Shelly Beach and Wanda Sanchez

Twelve weeks of meditations give a voice to those who suffer. Chances are that whoever you are, you or someone you know and love has been affected by trauma - the yucky painful "junk" of life. If that person is you, it's also likely you've seldom, if ever spoken to others about the depth of your pain, your sense of isolation, and your feelings of abandonment.  You may have been hurt - victimized - at the hands of others. Perhaps once. Perhaps many times. The pain of those traumas cut deeply into your soul and often leaves lifetime scars. We know your struggle. We know the face of trauma, post traumatic stress disorder, confusion, and desperation because those struggles have been our own. We are here to tell you that even in the depths of your deepest despair, God hears your cries and you have reason to hope.

Shelly Beach is the author of ten books, including the Christy Award- winning Hllie's Heart. She is a national speaker, is cofounder of PTSD Perspectives with Wanda Sanches and reaches approximately two million readers each moth on

Wanda Sanchez is the executive producer of one of the nation's longest running talk shows. She blogs and speaks about hope for recovery from post-traumatic stress disorder to women and health professionals around the country.

I think that its true that most people go through something hard in their lives. Dealing with this, is often very lonely, even if it doesn't have to be. Love Letters from the Edge is a great book for helping someone overcome these struggles, and help them find themselves. If you like a broken kind of beautiful,  or Out of the Depths this is a book worth checking out.
