Review: Avon Foot Works Cherry Ice Lotion

Avon Foot Lotion Cherry Ice
I know I do a ton of lotion reviews, but the Cherry Ice Moisturizing Lotion by Avon Foot Works seemed so interesting that I was immediately curious. Since the last ice type of lotion I tried Perlier Ice Body Water worked out so well, and I've had a lot of luck with reviewing Avon products in the past I decided I would give the Cherry Ice Moisturizing Lotion a chance, and to be completely honest it wasn't at all what I expected.

I know that I can be kind of picky when it comes to how a product is packaged, but for me that's a very important part of it as a whole. Other than the Avon Foot Works Cherry Moisturizing Lotion looking like an Avon product (you can see my Avon Moisture Therapy Body Lotion Review for a comparison) I actually like it the white pink background is simple and the red inserts work well, and that cherry on the side is just fun. I only wish that there wasn't that creepy foot on the top front. I love the easy to open lid and squeezing out the product isn't a problem at all.

The smell of the Cherry Ice Moisturizing lotion is the part that I didn't really expect. I smell the cherry, quite vividly but the ice is actually more of a bubbly carbonated drink like Sprite. Not bad at all, but probably a little sweet if you're someone prone to headaches. Going on its a lot thinner than I expected, and consistency wise reminds me of Philosophy Hope in a Jar lotion. It absorbs well and leaves only a little bit of that just applied lotion feeling.

Even though the Avon Foot Works Cherry Ice Lotion wasn't what I expected I like it a lot, more than I thought I would. It has a very unique and pleasant smell, works well as a lotion, and the packaging isn't too bad.
