Review: Lady Gaga Fame Fragrance

how the lady gaga fame fragrance looks
You see, I've been asking for a new fragrance for awhile now because my current perfume, Juicy Couture  has been with me since high school and although I love it,  I'm ready for something new. So for my Kohls Haul, which was a part of my larger Christmas Haul is the Lady Gaga Fame Fragrance. Since I'm not really a Lady Gaga fan, this perfume wasn't on my wish list, or something I was all that excited about, but I really like it.

I have to admit the packaging is very unique. I absolutely love the fact that this perfume is black, even if it comes out clear. Apparently this is because "its black like the soul of fame", I'm not sure that fame has a soul, or that if it did, it'd be black, but I still like the uniqueness of it. As for the gold claw like thing on the top of the perfume, as cool as it looks, I'm not a fan. Its a very flimsy plastic, and I'm afraid it'll break. I just wish they'd done it in metal.

The smell of this Lady Gaga Fame Perfume is "Tears of Belladonna, Crushed Heart of Tiger Orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot, and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops. To me, it smells a little like citrus and a little like a stereotypical flower. Not something I'd expect Lady Gaga to wear herself. I mean its nice, but its not fun or young, just pleasant. For a more out there smell I'd go with Mark Citrus Bloom Fragrance

Overall I think the Lady Gaga Fame Perfume is just okay. It smells nice, if you're going for something you can wear at church or around your family, but isn't something I'd reach for. The scent isn't long lasting or, at least not noticeably so. I do have to admit though, I love how this bottle looks.
