Review: Secret Clinical Strength

Prescription Deodorant
Clinical Strength
Secret Antiperspirant Deodorant
Light and Fresh Scent

As I've mentioned before, many times actually, I sweat a lot. If the room gets a little warm then I start sweating, if I go up a large flight of stairs, then I start to break a sweat. It doesn't matter that I'm not excreting myself to do this, my body just wants to cool me off. All of this would be just fine too if sweat didn't smell. But it does, and that's what deodorant made for. The problem though is that with the constant sweating I do, the average antiperspirant isn't really enough to handle it. I don't really want to go to the doctor and get a prescription deodorant, so you can imagine how happy I was to receive Secret Clinical Strength to review.

For someone with any type of fragrance irritation or just a general dislike of smelly things this is the perfect deodorant. As a perfume wearer I can even see the advantages of a scent free antiperspirant, be causes if I use something like my Secret Stress Sweat Deodorant it tends to take away a little bit from my perfume. This does have a slight smell, but more of a clean kind of thing where you'll just feel fresh when you apply it. After about twenty minutes the scent wasn't even noticeable anymore.

More important than how something smells though is how well it work, and I have to say Secret makes a pretty good prescription strength antiperspirant. After all day of my normal kind of sweating, which is a lot, I still didn't smell. Not one bit. It has Clinically proven prescription strength wetness protection, skin soothing conditioners and oder fighting capsules that absorb odor and release scent all day to keep you smelling clean and fresh.

There is one odd thing to note though. You're supposed to apply this deodorant at night. Now of course it makes sense when they explain it. Their formula is activated at night to take advantage of the body's natural temperature variations. For someone that's a morning shower taker these directions may cause a bit of a problem. I've tried it by putting it on after I shower in the morning and it still works well so maybe this isn't too much of an issue.

Overall I have to say that I like this deodorant really well. At first I wasn't sure about the no scent thing but after trying it out, it seems like a huge advantage. For sweat protection it's a huge step up from some other products I've used like Dove Deodorant and Lady Speed Stick. That's not to say those antiperspirants are bad, just that this one is really good. The only thing I don't like is the application directions.
