Birthday Presents from Parents

Luxury Birthday Presents
For my birthday, that just came up I went shopping with my parents in Chicago. Instead of staying downtown we actually stayed in a small city located on the Indiana side of Lake Michigan, and took the train into Chicago to buy my birthday presents. We did this for a few reasons. First the hotels are so much cheaper on the Indiana side, second no one wanted to drive downtown. Traffic can be terrible and the whole point was to relax a little bit. Lastly I wanted to ride on the train. The tickets are cheap and I don't know why, but I love doing it.

First I got different beauty products, you can check out my Bath & Body Works Haul to see the details on that. I do get a lot of these kind of products from blogging but sometimes its really nice to get exactly what you want, in the scent that you want.

Next I went to get moderately priced designer clothes that I really wanted. You can check out my BCBG Max Azria Haul to see the items individually. They are kind of out of my budget, but my parents knew I had been wanting to get a few things there so they bought them. I'm very happy with the clothes, and actually they show how my fashion has been changing recently.

After that I went to get some cheaper clothes at a discounted price and did a Marshells haul over what I bought. I love a good deal, so I couldn't pass them up. Everything I bought was at least 50% off its original ticket price. Sales like this one is the reason I have trouble paying full price.

The last thing I bought was a beautiful bag from Coach. It retails for $480 but they had it marked down to $400 so after some convincing my parents agreed to get it for me. Although its not a cross body which is what I had actually been looking for its still so nice. I love the floral cut out design and the pink color.

When I woke up in the morning, the actual day of my birthday my parents gave me a card and some candy along with a pack of hair ties that way I had something on my birthday. This was such a surprise to me and made me instantly happy. Sometimes its the little things that matter the most.
