About the Author

"I was born in a romantic and poetic city of St Petersburg, Russia. Since then I have travelled a lot and lived in different countries and cities, but the dynamics and urban cultures of such cities as London, New York, Moscow, and Dubai, where I lived and worked, attract me most.
I love to explore life and always stay open minded to anything or anyone who can show me new horizons. Even though I appreciate stories and books written by authors coming from different backgrounds I was greatly inspired and influenced by Russian and English classics. My favorite Russian author is Anton Chehov, one of the greatest writers of short stories in history. He used to say: ‘Brevity is the sister of talent.’ And my favorite English author isJohn Fowles, a master of mystification in modern literature.
My own writing journey started in October 2010 in New York where a certain sequence of events and meetings helped me to recognize my talent.   In fiction, and also in real life, I am fascinated and drawn to thrillers and stories with a twist; they make my brains work and add a touch of exhilaration to my own existence that is in itself a life-long, mind-twisting novel."

My thoughts.
I love this book. It is fairly short and simple to read, but it doesn't lack in anything. From a good story line to interesting characters this book has is all. I love how each "episode" in the book has a short quote that gives a hint at what that part of the book is going to be about and makes you want to continue reading.  The setting, in Moscow is also vividly described and gives the book a unique feel.  I couldn't stop reading.
